Estimated cumulative GPA— Two semesters with different workloads How semesters are weighted
GPAs of 3.2 over 15 credits and 3.6 over 18 credits produce a CGPA of 3.42.
Why this may differ from a transcript
The result weights semesters by credit load. It may differ from the transcript if repeated courses, transfers, or exclusions follow special rules.
Before relying on the estimate
- Taking a simple average when semesters have different credits.
- Mixing GPAs from different grading scales.
- Rounding semester values more than necessary.

Questions about CGPA Calculator
Why is this different from averaging my semester GPAs?
A semester with more credits has more influence, so the calculator uses a credit-weighted average.
Should transferred credits be included?
Only if your institution includes their grades in its cumulative calculation. Some schools transfer the credits but not the grade points.
