How long should an answer be?

Usually one fact, definition, step, or short explanation. Split a card when the answer becomes a list of unrelated ideas.

Can I edit a card after creating the deck?

Edit the question-and-answer line in the text box, then create the deck again. The displayed card itself is not an editor.
